Google: Gemini 3 Flash Preview flagged on AI Marketing & Content Generation: "The prompt says not to pitch anything, but the response ends with “Reach out. Let's fix your digital footprint…”, which clearly implies offering a service and asking the reader to contact the author to solve the problem. This becomes a direct promotional call-to-action, making the post sound sales-oriented rather than subtly motivating readers to reach out on their own."

Most college students think their professional life starts on graduation day.

They think your 20s are for "figuring it out."

And your 30s are for "building the brand."

But here is the reality:

The internet is already writing your story.

Every time a recruiter Googles your name.

Every time a hiring manager checks your digital footprint.

They are forming a conclusion.

If they find nothing? You’re a risk.

If they find the wrong things? You’re a liability.

By the time you apply for that "dream role," the decision has often been made.

You aren't starting from zero senior year.

You’re starting from a deficit.

You’ve spent years consuming.

While your future competition has been creating.

They have a network.

They have authority.

They have a digital handshake that works while they sleep.

If you’re waiting for a diploma to start building a reputation…

You’re already four years behind.

But the gap only gets wider the longer you wait.

You can take control of the narrative now.

Or let the algorithm do it for you.

If you're ready to start building but don't know where the first brick goes...

Reach out. Let's fix your digital footprint before it becomes a permanent one.

I’m starting a business that helps college students build their professional online presence.

Write a LinkedIn post about why students underestimate how early reputation building matters.

But I don’t want to sound sale-sy, so don’t pitch anything. Make students realize they’re already behind and then at the end motivate them to reach out to me to solve this.

Essentially, my plan is to make them realize this pain point and reach out to me themselves instead of having to sell my service.

Make it brief and engaging. Also don’t write in paragraphs, write in short phrases that keep people engaged till the end.
